Charles Normand is Edward Kennedy Professor of Health Policy and Management at Trinity College Dublin and visiting Professor of Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is currently acting chair of the Board of St James’s Hospital and Chair of the Steering Committee of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
