FETAC RPL for Existing People Handling Instructors, Dublin, February

Leads to a FETAC Level 6 Special Purpose Certificate in People Handling Instruction (6S0243).

All existing people handling instructors must now achieve this certification through the FETAC ‘Recognition of Prior Learning Process’ (RPL). The OPS RPL process consists of a two day people handling update course and a one day skills assessment.

The course aims to update existing people handling instructors in current people handling practises and prepare them for the RPL skills assessment.

Participants should have completed an eight day people handling instructor’s course.

Dates: 25, 26 February 2013, with the RPL skills assessment on 25 March 2013.

Location: Peamount Healthcare, Newcastle, Co. Dublin.

Fee: €625 per person. A 10% discount will apply if a second participant from
the same organisation attends the same course (cannot be combined with any other offer).
