eHealth Ireland and the HSE are hosting the 2017 Health Innovation Week from October 20th– 25th. Health Innovation Week is a series of free interactive events that encourage creation, learning and collaboration by showcasing health innovation in Ireland today. There are many events being held throughout the week.

October 20th: Unlocking the “digital thread” in the Health Management Landscape
Cork University Business School
An engaging seminar which will explore the opportunities, challenges and next steps associated with eHealth. The digital health domain is estimated to grow exponentially by 2020, and we will examine why this change is important.
October 21st – 22nd: eHealth Innovation Challenge
Accenture Building, Grand Canal Dock
A two day Hackathon all about mental health. If you think you could build a working prototype of something in a 24hr hack time that can harness the power of technology to help our colleagues, patients and HSE network, then this is for you!
October 23rd: Innovation Showcase
The Printworks, Dublin Castle
A one day event with presentations, exhibitions and workshops that showcase the creativity involved in healthcare including:
- eHealth digital natives competition
- Interactive international start-up exhibition
- International Chief Clinical Information Officers discussion panel
- Office hours with HSE leadership

October 24th: HIMSS Executive Leadership Summit
The Round Room, Mansion House
Delivered in partnership with the Health Service Executive and KPMG Ireland, this exclusive invite-only summit will unite senior health and care IT leaders to explore the latest technologies transforming healthcare. The day will include keynote addresses and expert-led panel discussions on the latest in health IT policy and implementation.
October 25th: eHealth Ireland Ecosystem: Partnering with Patients for Healthcare Innovation
Radisson Blu, Golden Lane
By bringing together stakeholders from across the eHealth spectrum, the eHealth Ireland Ecosystem helps to break down silos and develop lasting collaborations to transform healthcare delivery and create economic growth, achieving the objectives of the Health Service Executive (HSE) to transform relationships in the delivery of healthcare, and in a technology-enabled environment. This event will include expert speakers and workshops considering the importance of empowering patients in healthcare.
October 25th: Connecting Digital Health

Take a break and have a fantastic evening with others from the digital health field to close off Health Innovation Week 2017! Last time we held this event there were over 120 people from 93 different organisations.
