The Chair of HMI South Regional Committee, Dr. Gerard O’Callaghan was delighted to welcome Stephen on the evening.

In a presentation packed with facts and data, Stephen outlined some of the parameters such as demographics and the likely impact of chronic illnesses which will frame future decision making around services delivery. He went on to discuss the fundamentals of our healthcare system, reform and Activity Based Funding (ABF). Following his presentation, there were many questions from the floor, which Stephen answered comprehensively.
