The MDM Room in CUH, was the venue for the latest South Region Forum held on 20 April 2012. Breda Kavanagh, General Manager, South Tipperary General Hospital and Regional Chair welcomed everybody and introduced the speakers.
The first speaker was Paddy Duggan, General Manager, Performance Management & Management, Information, HSE. Paddy’s presentation began with the concept of performance management and he talked through what comprises the performance system, the performance review cycle, how to engage for success and exploring the performance implementation plan.
With the next progress report of the Public Service Agreement 2010-2014 (Croke Park Agreement) due shortly, Pat Harvey’s presentation was timely. Pat who is Chair of the PSA Health Service Implementation Body advised the audience of progress made to date. Following a lively question and answer session, the meeting closed with thanks given to our sponsors GSK.
